How to Set up RDP Connection

There is no need in any special set up to use RDP connection in Windows. The "Remote Desktop Connection" client application ships with any Windows distribution by default. You have to run the "Remote Desktop Connection" shortcut from the Windows Start menu and enter your user login, password and remote server address.

After successful connection to the remote server, make sure that these two conditions are met

1) Scan Redirector RDP Edition tray icon is presented in the remote session system tray:

2) The drop down menu of a system tray icon contains the actual list of the scanners, connected to your local computer (PC, laptop):
