USB 3.0 Support Requirements

Please note the following when redirecting USB 3.0 devices from a computer running on Windows 7 or older operating system. Due to the lack of native USB 3.0 support in these systems, you need to install USB 3.0 host controller drivers provided by the motherboard manufacturer. USB Redirector works with the following USB 3.0 controllers:

•NEC/Renesas (driver version 2.1.39 or newer is required)

•Renesas/NEC (driver version 3.0.23 or newer is required)

•VIA/VLI

•Intel

•ASMedia

On Windows 8 and newer systems, USB Redirector works with all USB 3.0 xHCI-compatible controllers.
