Q: I log in to the RDP session, but there are no any scanners in the Scan Redirector RDP Edition tray icon menu.

A: You've logged to the RDP session not having the Scan Redirector RDP Edition (Workstation part) running on your local PC. Check if there is the tray icon in the system tray on your local PC. If not, run the Scan Redirector RDP Edition (Workstation part) manually from the Start menu and re-connect to the RDP session.

 

Q: I log in to the Citrix ICA remote session, but there are no any scanners in the Scan Redirector RDP Edition tray icon menu.

A: There are two possible reasons for that:

1) You've logged into the Citrix session not having the Scan Redirector RDP Edition running on your local PC. Check if there is the tray icon in the system tray on your local PC. If not, run the Scan Redirector RDP Edition manually from the Windows Start menu and re-connect to the Citrix remote session.

2) You've installed Citrix client after installing Scan Redirector RDP Edition. To get Citrix connection working, run "Install Citrix support" shortcut from the Scan Redirector RDP Edition program folder in the Windows Start menu of your local PC and re-connect to the Citrix remote session.
