I am currently evaluating USB Redirector and it appears to do exactly what it says on the tin but i am have a problem when the server (running Windows Home Server) resumes from hibernation.
When the server resumes the USB Server Setting changes to 'do not accept incoming connections'. As a result no clients can connect until RDP'ing into the server and resetting the USB Server Setting to allow connections.
The setting is correct from a cold boot or a re-boot but after resume from hibernation the setting reverts to 'do not accept'.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.
For info the Home server is running on a Dell SC440 and the shared device is a Canon MP530. |

I encounter the exactly same problem. It's after Standby as well - not only after resuming from Hibernation.
Please investigate.
My server always goes into Standby after 5 minutes of inactivity and no client is online anymore to save a huge amount of power! |

I assume you use LightsOut as well for putting your Homeserver into Standby.
There is an easy workaround: Just add 'usbredirectorsrv' to the 'start/stop services' list in LightsOut settings.
Still, it is a bug that Resume is not working properly out of the box. |
