Hi,

I receive an error

insmod: error inserting '/usr/local/usb-server/bin/tusbd.ko': -1 Invalid module
??? Cannot start USB Server

during the installation of the latest version (presuming v.1.9) on Slackware 12.0.
I read advice to check kernel source and running kernel versions.
Both are the same 2.6.21.5.

Any help appreciated

Please carefully see:
http://www.incentivespro.com/usb-server-install.html#tusbd

Above error happened in cases if your kernel version is not corresponding with the kernel version used during driver compilation. Please verify the version of kernel uname -r and source codes kernel version.

Solution:
e. g.: make KERNELDIR=/usr/src/kernel-source-2.6.xxx.xxx

Thanks for your reply.

Unfortunately, I can repeat only

"during the installation of the latest version (presuming v.1.9) on Slackware 12.0.
I read advice to check kernel source and running kernel versions.
Both are the same 2.6.21.5. "

I can't imagine what is wrong. Kernel sources and running kernel are the same. There is only one linux kernel source In this linux distribution and no any other path to the source as default.

In such a case the configuration of your kernel (binary running) does not correspond to kernel source during tusbd driver compilation.

Please check it.

You can to try the following solution:

cd /usr/src/linux
