Trying to get an Andrea pure audio USB microphone working on a remote. I've installed the server and workstation sides and the microphone shows up in the device manager, but if I go to audio properties it does not come up as a usable audio device.

Hi!
Unfortunately Windows blocks access to any USB audio devices inside RDP session. The only audio device available in this case is RDP Audio, which is a part of RDP audio redirection.
You can use the redirected USB mic from a local session on a remote computer, though.
