Hi,

I've installed USB Redirector RDP Edition (Trial) on my PC (Server Edition) and my Laptop (Workstation Edition) - and trying to sync my iPod to iTunes while connecting it to the laptop physically.
When I connect the iPod, the workstation edition shows:
iPod - USB Mass Storage Device (Device s/n: 000A2700151EC880)

The server shows the same, with a green checked icon on it.
However, iTunes doesn't show it

Both of my computers are running Windows 7 x64 with SP1, using MSTSC to connect from the workstation to the server one.

Am I doing anything wrong ? How can I resolve this issue ?

Thanks,
Effy,

Are you able to access it locally on Laptop when it is not shared in USB Redirector? Our testers have just encountered similar problem with iPod and it was due to a bad USB port.

If it is not the case, we would be interested to see the logs from your device. So, if you are up to some debugging, please install our USB Logger on Laptop, start it, select File -> New Session and plug in your iPod. Then reproduce the problem, save the log and send it to us.
Thanks.

I don't think the USB is a bad port as I've tried two of them after your post and iTunes works locally just fine.
I've reproduced the problem while logging it using USB Logger:

Thanks for your help!

Effy, unfortunately the log did not help Sad
Our developers might need to do a remote session with you to resolve the problem.
